Jay Waltmunson from Microsoft will be speaking about the evolution of speech in Windows Phone from WP 7 through WP8. He will share insights on key user pain points, and solutions offered by WP8 and other Microsoft products. Finally, he will demonstrate the WP 8 Speech Developer APIs.

Jay Waltmunson is  in the Online Services Division at Microsoft Corporation. He and his team plan, design, develop, integrate, and maintain natural user interface technologies, speech recognition and synthesis components, and developer platform APIs, included in an increasing number of Microsoft products, including Xbox Kinect, Windows Phone, Microsoft Office, Windows, and Bing.
