Seattle, WA- Deaf Spotlight is pleased to present “Broken Spokes,” written by well-known Deaf playwright Willy Conley, as our first theatrical production this Fall. This is a drama about two brothers – one deaf and one hard of hearing – and explores relationships, memories, and power issues, using ASL storytelling. “Broken Spokes” speaks to the endurance of family bonds.

“Broken Spokes” will be on stage for four performances November 8-10, 2013, at the University of Washington’s Ethnic Cultural Center and Theatre in Seattle, Washington. This production will be directed by Ryan Schlecht, who has an extensive background in acting and directing local plays. Deaf Spotlight is looking forward to bringing Willy Conley’s story to the stage.
