The Asian Languages and Literature graduate students are currently planning our annual colloquium! Please inform any graduate and undergraduate students associated with topics concerning Asian literature, linguistics, culture, or society who would like to take part in this colloquium.

The Asian Languages and Literature Colloquium will take place in Savery Hall rooms 408 and 409 on the UW Seattle campus on Saturday, April 20th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Light snacks and refreshments will be served. Students will have 10 to 15 minutes to present and discuss their papers. The colloquium panels will be organized by themes to be determined on the basis of abstracts received. Each panel will feature presentations from a cross-section of Asian regions and disciplines.

Abstracts of approximately 250 words are requested by Friday, March 22nd. Graduate and undergraduate students from all departments are encouraged to submit abstracts pertaining to any discipline and region of Asia. We will make every effort to accommodate all submissions.
