University of Southern California Undergraduate Conference in Linguistics

The University of Southern California, Los Angeles, will host its first Undergraduate Conference in Linguistics on Friday, October 12, 2012.

Introduction to the Syntactic Structure of the World’s Languages database

Khalil Iskarous (USC)
Experimental Phonetics

Elsi Kaiser (USC)
Psycholinguistics

Plus: Special report from USC undergraduates on a field trip to document two endangered Austronesian languages in the mountains of Taiwan, summer 2012.

The USC Department of Linguistics intends to publish a special volume of the papers presented at the conference.
