18th International Conference on Head-driven Phrase Structure Grammar (HPSG 2011), 8/22-8/25

The University of Washington is hosting the 18th International Conference on Head-driven Phrase Structure Grammar (HPSG 2011), August 22-25.

Early registration is available through 7/31/11. The conference features tutorials by Johanna Nichols (UC Berkeley) on “Argument Structure Cross-Linguistically” and Nicholas Asher on “The Semantics/Pragmatics Interface: Implicatures and Discourse Structure”; a workshop on Information Structure and Formal Grammar (Keynote: Mats Rooth, Cornell) and keynote presentations by Olivier Bonami (Paris-Sorbonne) and Thomas Wasow (Stanford).
