Start your planning for fall quarter early – the time schedule is posted. I’ve updated the list of courses that count as LING electives on the main lingadv webpage. There’s also a good number of courses within the department that count as LING electives: Sociolinguistics II, Psychology of Language, Second Language Learning, Experimental Phonetics, and Methods in Comparative Linguistics. It’s a great quarter to find something exciting!
Also, for those of you interested in American Sign Language, I’m pleased to announce that we’re offering 4 sections of ASL 101 in the Fall, as well as 2nd-year ASL (which is listed in the Fall as LING 390).
